At My Safe Haven, we are committed to providing respite care services because supporting young people on their journey through the care system is incredibly important to us. With our extensive experience in this area, we aim to help young individuals create lasting memories before they transition to their long-term placements.
Our on-site social worker has over 20 years of experience working with children from challenging backgrounds and possesses a wealth of knowledge about the difficulties they face. Our entire team takes great pride in the work we do, focusing on nurturing growth and confidence in the young people we support. We also offer exceptional respite care services and fantastic outdoor and high-activity opportunities for those who spend time with us.
At My Safe Haven, we offer bespoke indoor and outdoor high activity-based crisis intervention services designed for young people aged 8-18 years, providing essential short-term support. Our semi-independent provisions can accommodate young individuals on placements of 7, 14, or 28 days, with a 1:1 or 2:1 support ratio (and in some cases, a 3:1 ratio) available 24 hours a day.
As part of our high-quality respite care services, we closely collaborate with Local Authorities to ensure we provide immediate, same-day, and short-term solutions for the most challenging and vulnerable young people, paving the way for their transition to long-term placements.
Our luxury service offers young people a much-needed break or mini-holiday from their current situations, focusing on creating a safe, secure, and calm environment. Here, young individuals are engaged while nurturing growth and confidence, and simultaneously learning new, key life skills.
We are dedicated to supporting young people in developing their social, communicative, emotional, and behavioral skills within a safe environment to promote positive outcomes moving forward.
